MarketingAs a young entrepreneur, Tony Sambell used his passion for building websites to earn him some extra pocket money in high school, then to pay his way through university. When he graduated with a Multimedia Studies degree, however, he found himself in the middle of a global financial crisis, struggling to find a job. So Tony did what all good entrepreneurs do in times of scarcity – he founded his own company.
With a little help from his friends (and the New Enterprise Incentive Scheme), Tony started Spicy Web in a spare room with next to nothing. Slowly but surely, he built a team of dedicated digital natives, each specialising in a particular area but driven by a unified purpose: to make a difference in other people’s lives through the power of digital.
