Digital Workflows

As a growth-focused technology business leader, Tal Evans has developed and led industry-leading IT services, software development, and sales and operations teams. He has founded and built several start-ups, driven successful mergers and acquisitions, fixed broken businesses, and managed both growing and mature operations with national and international footprints.

Early in his career, Tal was director and co-owner of one of Australia’s most prominent private technology businesses, with 200 employees and $180 million in annual revenues, before heading up the regional division of a large global technology firm. He has also co-owned and headed two machinery manufacturing and distribution businesses, and served on advisory boards for several multinational tech vendors and government agencies.

Today, Tal owns and leads Majestic Computer Technology, a digital advisory firm that helps business leaders embrace the most appropriate IT services, automation, cybersecurity, and AI technologies to optimise their operations, retain talent, and build productive relationships. Tal is also an accredited Family Business Advisor, trained to understand the nuanced relationship between business, ownership, and the ‘family dynamic’. In Australia, some 70% of businesses are family businesses – yet most technology service providers lack awareness of how this dynamic can impact decision-making and trust, which are increasingly vital in a hyperconnected world.

Tal’s credentials – in a nutshell:

Extensive governance, risk, and compliance expertise.

A long history of business-building and substantial M&A experience.

A deep-seated understanding of people and what motivates (and demotivates) them.

Intuitive knowledge of what levers to pull to drive business outcomes.

Accredited Family Business Advisor (University of Adelaide).

“Digital technology and automation are not merely mechanisms for creating efficiency in business processes. They can be used to enable businesses to operate in entirely new and different ways.” – Tal Evans
