Craig Scheef

Capital-raising

Craig Scheef started his career auditing companies at KPMG, where he qualified as a chartered accountant. He has spent the past 30 years professionally investing in businesses for others and is the founder and investment director at Technical Investing, where he’s helped some of Australia’s wealthiest families and individuals diversify their portfolios by identifying new market trends and early-growth opportunities.

Craig has an extensive network of global contacts that he uses to explore and unearth hundreds of investment opportunities each year. His investments span the spectrum from small startups to major multinationals, in sectors as wide-ranging as food, agriculture, healthcare, mining, biotechnology, and software development. Craig knows the language of investment markets, and has advised dozens of companies on how they can improve and grow their businesses.

While Craig has invested more than a billion dollars on the equity markets in Australia and the US, Technical Investing has also invested over $80 million directly into businesses through IPOs, equity placements, and rights issues. Craig’s investments attract regular media attention, and he has presented on Nine’s Your Money, as well as being interviewed for numerous podcasts and journals. In his spare time, Craig can often be found mentoring young people and attending community events with the Big Brothers Big Sisters charity.
